Zig-zag walnut, cherry & beech chopping board - discounted

£120.00Price
Quantity

This is real handmade hardwood massive, thick and heavy chopping board made from walnut, cherry & beech woods in a zig-zag pattern design. Rather than handles or an undercut in this board I have routed a beautiful groove all around it for aesthetic and lifting. This is a completely unique chopping board and worthy of gracing any kitchen. Don't make a purchase mistake and miss what a huge and impactful board this is. I love it so much I have a similar one in my own kitchen!

I have discounted this because there are three slight dark marks on it from the construction process that I haven't managed to completely sand out but given the discount this board represents the best value for money on this website

My chopping boards represent staggering value for money given the high-quality exotic woods and the incredible amount of time each one takes to make. This is not akin to something from your local supermarket; this is an artisan product.

This offers great value for such a big board. This is a full thickness end grain chopping board. Each board is finished with mineral oil and beeswax so is completely food safe.

Length = approx. 41.0cm, width = approx. 35.0cm, thickness = approx. 4.0cm (measurements to nearest 0.5cm and rounded down).

Please consider following me on social media (The Imperfection Shed) where you can see new items, special offers and how some of my products are made.

As my shop's name would suggest, The Imperfection Shed, all my products are pretty fabulous but nevertheless imperfect as a sequelae of their individually handmade nature and the semi-thumbed shed-bound bloke making them but nothing is hidden in the high def pictures I post so.... WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)!

Please remember that wood is a natural product and will take a small amount of ongoing care. Wash the board only by hand with warm, soapy water after each use, then dry it immediately. Avoid soaking the board in water or putting it in the dishwasher, as this can cause warping or cracking. For stubborn stains or odours, one can use coarse salt and lemon juice as a natural cleaning and disinfecting agent. Finally, one can recondition the board with a food-safe oil from time to time to maintain its lustre and look.

N.B. nothing but the chopping board is included; anything else in the photos is for illustration purposes only.
